Has there ever been a girl group fandom with more in-fighting and bad blood than BLACKPINK's?

I think blinks are competitive and I think it happens with certain groups. I've noticed with Aespa you have MYs fighting all of the time.

Each member have star power and have been marketed well. The huge solo stan problem is a result of them at times seemingly doing more solo activities like modelling, along with a lack of group comebacks / music. A breeding ground for solo stans to grow so intense.

The concept of fandom in-fighting over individual members is foreign to me. Didn't happen in Mamamoo, when Hwasa became a massively popular It Girl. Never happened in the NewJeans fandom either, not that there were a ton of solo activities anyway.

I don’t think I’ve seen akgae problem in SHINee either.

But from last year when Aespa members started doing much more solo activities, akgaes have been getting wild, even getting hit tweets dragging other members. I just wish akgaes ceased to exist, but that will never happen

A nugu group can have in fighting within its fandom.

Like ISaidISaid already said, when each member in a group has such strong star power and individual recognition, the likelihood of that fighting and toxicity manifesting within the fandom, becomes greater.

So your point of SNSD and 2NE1 in response to her stance makes zero sense because only specific members of those groups are commonly known, possess star power, and have actually achieved any semblance of solo success.

You dont know how IVE fans are in Korea and they don’t have a correspondingly big international presence for you make a direct comparison to BP.

Anyway like i ended your thread with my first response, there is no comparison at all in kpop to BP where all members have such a strong individual identity and that was the forefront of everything from the day they debuted.

They’re just unique that way. And it’s ok to accept that.

Not sure about 2NE1 but SNSD is one of the very few groups that the GP knew ALL members. People often talked about even their grandmothers know them all.

So saying SNSD nothing like BP is incorrect. Highly marketing for individualism instead of an unity is the only thing common between the two groups and separated them with 99% ggs.

The other groups with all of members are well known stars are Sistar and Girl's Day.

The reason why there wasn't much of infighting in the SNSD/Sistar/Girl's Day fandoms: there were NOT many of them to begin with. 2nd generation ggs didn't have many fans as 3rd and 4th gen. They were designed for mass appeal with casual audiences, not for hard core fanbase.
