wow this song is horrible. could twice be any more disappointing? i don't understand the point of making music like this. i am putting a lot of hope in the album, much like with their past recent releases.

I can count with 1 hand the number of full-english songs by Kpop artists that are not weird to listen to, and unfortunately "This is For" is not going to be joining that list. What a waste of a comeback (for me personally). I understand doing it for the fans, but seriously us Western fans listen to kpop because we like it as it is, we don't want it to be in English, but for some reasons companies think there's this insatiable demand for kpop groups to sing English with kpop singing style, bad pronunciation, and nonsense lyrics.

Listening to it again, and it's a bit... meh. Moonlight Sunrise is better. It's another TikTok length song, so it lacks oomph that it sorely needs. It's like a rocket that's going at half speed in the air.

I like the verses but the chorus is underwhelming. I had a lot of expectations this time. Maybe be it will grow on me idk.

I liked it. Though it is not going to be mega viral I think. I don’t understand the need for Kpop songs to make English songs. If you really must make an English pre release and have the actual title be mostly Korean.

Also why is it so short? Is it not the title?

But, 2:13?! Wtf? That's not even enough to fully enjoy the song. Only reason I probably won't add it to my playlist. Listening to it will just frustrate me.

The bridge potential. The dance break potential!!!!!? JYPE!? Wtf? Why!? I feel like they just gave us new music so they can send Twice on tour once again. This isn't even a proper song at this point. Like someone said in the previous thread, it's just an intro tbh.

On another note, Twice has completely given up on Korea it seems. But meh. They aren't Twice's main demo at this point anyway.
