    Anyone who has had a junior high education can read "Tokyo".


    I think this is Jk expressing what he actually feels to Korea and Koreans without saying anything.


    The way BTS, and especially he who was treated inferior to New Jeans, by the Koreans would make anyone angry, and now he has nothing owed to Korea he can express his opinion without any strings.


    I won't be surprised if he renounces his Korean citizenship and decides to domicile elsewhere, and South Korea losing his tax revenue forever.


    And also important is that none of the members stopped him.


    Some Korean women are going berserk over that. Korean men, knowing what they had done cost BTS members north of $1 billion, are less vocal about this but who cares about them.

    I don’t really think they care about the love of Koreans. Most of their income is international and it sounds like the bits and pieces they are saying-the military did not treat them good.     If they didn't think about Korea they would have domiciled elsewhere. Would Korea send troops to capture them? That is called kidnapping.


    But they , at least JK, probably realized that it was wholly in vain. Most of the people there were not Koreans - Koreans already rejected them.

    the only answers i can find are:


    1. he is VERY VERY ignorant (but it doesn't sounds very realistic to me specially at this stage of his life...)

    2. he holds pro japanese views like the other korean conservatives (such as ppp)

    3. he just used a hat of a hybe staff who does (possible but rather unlikely)

    4. he is consciously trying to damage the bts brand, but for what purpose? being able to free himself from hybe maybe? and focus on his solo career? honestly IDK... i'm just confused.


    But I feel like it might be linked to the fact that he might not be angry at korea but at hybe :thinkerpepe: . Maybe it's an anti hybe stunt?

    That is possible, too. He tried to help New Jeans. Danielle replied by posing the MHJ hat but who knows what they might have been talking about in private. Only they would know.


    He would be angry at Hybe, the way the company is run, the way BTS is being treated, et al.

    I hope he does get a pass for this because this is just so weird. I don't feel like this was an honest mistake because it's been almost 10 years and we all know what a hat like that means. Also, I am confusing why is a Korean wearing that. I have so many questions about all of this. Is he being edgy due to serving his mandatory military?

    I'm just making alleged suppositions to explain this mess other than saying that he can't read toddler leven of english while promoting in english speaking countries for years and having recorded a full english album :rolleyes: .

    Your unhealthy obsession about abandoning Korea is unrealistic and despite all your illusion I'm sure BTS love their country.

    And they thrived through Kpop and are loved as kpop so no need to try to separate them of their identity that they never denied or felt ashamed of.

    When the Koreans voted New Jeans over JK in 2023 the members should have realized the situation


    And the regime which dragged them to the military is no longer in power (it was expected to be ruling till 2027), which means for the younger members at least, they served in the military for, in all practical purposes, nothing.
