Do you think Itzy will renew?

IDK what’s best for ITZY. JYP at least tried with Gold Album, now it feels like they don’t even care.

I hope all of them will leave that shithole, honestly. They deserve better, but I think all of them will renew as a group member and some will leave as soloists (music or acting etc).

But selfishly I hope they don't renew. JYP has been doing them dirty for too long. Except for Imaginary Friend. I love Imaginary Friend.

They'll renew and that's will be the stupiediest thing ever. As much as I like them, I think they are very nice girls, but so nice that they will not be able to say no to JYPE. Maybe Lia will leave and have a solo contract elsewhere but i'm not even sure.

I was thinking they renew, but I could see Lia leaving to attempt a solo. I am still confused why JYPE didn't do more with them and waited for the final year to give a member a solo. It would be crazy but I wouldn't mind if they find a new agency because I am unsure if JYPE is the best company for them because ITZY should be doing much better imo

If they are smart they'll renew bc despite everything they don't have a fandom or popularity big enough to be soloists. They are still better as a group and while jype is terrible, they at least make good money.

based purely off history - no since in the entire history of GG only 6 of them (SNSD, Dreamcatcher, Mamamoo*, Twice, BP* and RV*) have renewed with all members who were there initially signed to the same company.

But I gather from various interviews and other things it would seem like Itzy would be more likely to renew than not...

Are they opening negotiations a little early? They are only just past the 6 year mark, with February next year being 7 years since debut.

They make good money from touring and physical album sales, I don't think any of them are popular enough to not resign for group activities and throw that away to make a new start somewhere else but if any of them want to make a acting debut they are probably better off going elsewhere for their solo activities rather then wait for JYP to get around to them
