    The tour should’ve been scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year. That would’ve given them time to drop a solid comeback, promote it properly, rehearse together, and make the tour feel like an event—not just a checklist item. But instead, we’re watching everything happen last minute, and it’s painfully obvious they’re just trying to push this out while they still can.


    And let’s be real: this is likely their last group comeback and tour—if not forever, then for at least a few years. That’s not even a shocking take at this point. They’ve all signed different solo deals, they’re building independent brands, and while that’s great for them as individuals, it also makes this moment all the more important.     Maybe it's harder to book a stadium tour if they waited 4th quarter. They most likely can't book stadiums in the fall due to NFL season and European football. I'm still not sure why they're rushing the actual comeback. I guess they prioritized the solos but this all feels rush and I'm afraid the quality will suffer.

    It's hard to not be frustrated and disappointed, especially as someone with tickets to the tour. But historically YG has been a hot mess and other than speculation, I have no reason to believe this isn't just more YG shenanigans and not the fault of the pinks, which is the sentiment being expressed in that quote.


    Blinks in general are frustrated with YG I think, but I don't see nearly as many putting the blame on the girls like this quote you took did.

    It’s just so frustrating. I’ve been a blink since HYLT and the fact that I’ve only been a part of 2 comebacks in 5 years is INSANE.


    How how how is there no release date for the single?? Tour starts in July mind you. The album rollout (if we even get one at this point) is gonna be a hot mess.


    We’ll get 1 (maybe 2) prerecorded Inkigayo stages to promote the title. Maybe a jimmy kimmel or fallon performance. Probably an OT4 live that’s like 20 minutes before the single/album drops and then BOOM tour starts.


    I defended the girls so hard during the Born Pink tour lashings but wow oh wow will I riot with the critics this time around if they’re up there looking like an out of sync hot mess! Let’s skip the fashion show and get in the studio ladies!


    This time around I can’t even solely blame YG. The girls spent MONTHS (well after their 7 year contract should’ve ended) negotiating with YG before we got an official statement. What were all the negotiations about if they can’t even commit to ONE comeback throughout their renewal. The Born Pink tour ended in September 2023 so they had so much time to pour their souls into their solo projects (which they did and I absolutely adore) BUT the scheduling flopped with all of them releasing back to back within the same month. Then they continue to do more solo work even though their stadium tour with expensive ass tickets is months away???? I’m sorry but this one’s on them just as much as it is on YG.


    Announcing the tour WAY before the comeback BEFORE all of their solo projects were even out was a terrible decision but I know YG needs to keep the lights on somehow. They should’ve at least scheduled the tour to start at the end of 2025. That way the next few months could’ve been spent dedicated to a proper album rollout, an album promotional period, and preparing for the tour. Lime is that so hard??


    Anyway, I know this sounds so hateful but I am genuinely so upset and frustrated as a long time blink that I hope my true blinkness shines through this post bc this is unacceptable.


    EDIT TO CLARIFY: in the video he says they’ll be releasing a single soon with no determined date yet. at the end he says “please support blackpink’s upcoming tour and new songs” songs plural so it’ll probably be more than just one song

    I think it should be obvious to everyone even Blinks that the Pinks and YG are just milking them at this point. Just like they've done throughout the entirety of BP's existence as a group. This group is essentially disbanded, the girls clearly out there wanting to make it on their own. How much practice and effort are they actually going to give to this tour?


    I think the only hope for a Blink fan who wants to see their faves passionate onstage and perform like superstars is for the girls to realize that the hype from the tour can help their solo careers. That's the motivation. Hopefully it's enough for Blinks to get their money's worth.

    I am an original YG group stan. I have followed BP's journey since before they even debuted as BP. I anticipated their debut longer than most people here have been K-Pop fans.


    This means that having to read my words about the group is like being forced to take the most bitter medicine. It tastes awful but it's not toxic.


    What's happening with BP's comeback and tour is precisely why I chose NOT to become a hardcore fan, a Blink, and subject myself to another generation of bullshit from YG.

    Also, I said leave the tribalism at the door. We are all K-Pop fans. They are all attractive young Korean adults singing cheesy songs with catchy hooks. There is no philosophical or fundamental difference between liking one group versus another.


    So, yes, a "MMM fan" can express how they'd feel if they were in a similar situation.

    I find more hilarious how Mys are crashing out on Twitter, because Aespa cb teasers and exact date didn’t drop, and we get to see Aespa as a group on stage, variety shows and etc etc etc almost every single day.


    But yeah, I would’ve never been able to be a blink, cuz of these long hiatuses. And Blinks are rightfully crashing out on Twitter, cuz waiting 3 years for cb, and there is not a single hint that it will happen, while the tour is 1 month away. Very valid disappointment. And I feel like BP girls are over being a group, and I can see the difference by the dedication to their solo and group projects. Their solo projects were excellent and were thought out. So Blinks should just let go BP as a group atp to not to feel even more frustrated, because the Pinks clearly left it behind.

    It is like some TV series or movie that get put into limbo, because everyone's schedule don't match. Lot of moving parts have to converge to make something like this happen. I agree that this might be the only time in the near future where they all can come together as a group. People should just be happy that it is happening at all like the 2NE1 concerts.


    Also, what is there to promote? They don't need much promos/group content/build up. Promos are very time consuming especially the Korean ones where you have to promote on variety shows. Idols have complained about the promotional circuit being very taxing. I don't blame them if they want to cut that part out.


    Do some concerts, record the process and drop a special DVD.

    According to this news, they have renewed their group activities with YG in 2023 for two years. So, the contract will probably end in December 2025 and the tour will end in January 2026. The concert venues were probably already decided in 2023/2024 and the members had to rush to complete their solo activities before the tour started. With the announcement of the tour name and the debut of a new four-member group, it has become even more evident that this tour will be their last act as a group.
