I'm not hyped by anything this year, except maybe BoA's 3 comebacks. 2 Japanese and 1 Korean release. Also, IU will release something in May as well.

Unless, MAMAMOO comes out with something, I don't care about this year.

BTW, I don't have a problem with i-dle "rebranding" because i-dle were their original name in the first place. Knetz and CUBE forced them to add "G", and now they can finally remove it. I don't think the name matters, if they will still release quality music.

The energy does feel different with this comeback. I don't think people will care that much about the rebrand if the music is good.

Hmmm. I like the visuals and vibes. I am sideeyeing the Soojin shade. I will make a decision when the comeback is out. I don't want to make a judgement early. I migt be wrong. But I always stand by this: disliking something is okay.

I only listened to the OT5 cut once and it wasn’t it for me. I think the promotion for the re-release wasn’t the best idea and timing just felt off imo . Plus, I’m not a fan of the whole discourse about Soojin . It made people use her as a tool to attack Soyeon or you have others taking shots at her because group reached new heights . It feels like not many are considering how she feels about everything. I get it but the energy for everything feels off

They should do something interesting to be the talk of the town. Bring back like Tomboy era or something.

I'm 100% with you... This rebranding rubbed me off the wrong way. I feel so dissapointed in them for alluding to Soojin since she left and now throwing at us that ridiculous coffin teaser. I'm too upset by Idle to be excited for their comeback as I was before that teaser came out. I just can't overcome this feeling, can't get passed this and believe me, I tried. But the OT5 songs after the teaser were too much for me.

I've really disliked their past 3-4 odd comebacks, so yeah... not hype'd at all.

It all depends on the songs. Lets revisit once the title drops.

I looooooved Yuqi’s Radio Dum-Dum, so that’s enough for me to check it out (I don’t usually like Idle stuff but I am trying to keep an open mind this time)
