The One-China Policy is a sensitive topic. Since 1971 the UN was forced to recognize PRC and disregard ROC. It's not something a small K-pop company can go against.

people really should just separate politics from their enjoyment of kpop, why make yourselves miserable?

Stating you adhere to the One China principle says nothing about which China you side with though.

Plus South Korea like most other countries also have agreed on the one China policy, the only disagreement is on how to make it happen and when will it happen.
