cant see shit man
its the list of his warnings, but only like 4 percent.
Guess even copy paste can't handle that kind of volume
-
not trying to stir sh*t or anything but how was the badguy horrible tho
? that's such a big word to say
.
he messed up (often) and could get unhinged too at times, but horrible?
-
The taglist misuse was a no from me. I can't subject people to being tagged in the context of stirring up drama.
A lot of people see this NJZ vs. HYBE/ADOR situation as a game, and I understand that he, from his POV, was just having fun. However, not everyone is interested in treating it that way and not everyone cares about the issue.
I also understand that a lot of users deal with stuff in their personal lives and mainly use AKP as an outlet to project negativity. However, if everyone is doing that, this place would be full of unbearable misery, worse than it already is at times. You guys don't even care to talk about actual K-pop, only armchair wannabe corporate stuff.

i wish there was a way to solve this issue
.
The issue is solved though.
A continued troll poster who refused to take warnings and smaller bans on board and correct his behaviour was shown the door.
You and I have both had warnings and bans for our behaviour. Yama has multiple warnings, not sure if he has bans. But in all our cases, we've all stopped, or very much dialed back the things we did that led to our warnings/bans.
The badguy didn't. He instead seemed to take each WP and smaller ban as a challenge to escalate his behaviour. Each time he came back, and especially so on his 2-30 usernames, he was more abusive and nasty than before. He increasingly made it clear he didn't want to be here because it's a community for discussion, he was coming here to troll and abuse anyone that didn't explicitly agree with his rather narrow point of view on one topic. He stopped engaging in any other discussions or topics (and one big user here was trying vainly to get him engaging in other things), only and solely increasingly aggressive and abusive behaviour.

Also this... it's important.
He repeatedly said in his last few months he didn't even care about kpop anymore. He wasn't interested at all in kpop from a musical/fun point of view. Just completely brainrotted by the Hybe/NJ drama solely, with a small (and funny tbh) dash of simping on MHJ/Haerin
For me thats one the biggest "crimes" that some trolls here are guilty of. The CLEARLY no longer even like kpop anymore. The fun side of kpop doesn't interest them, they never engage in discussion of music or variety or anything. They just want to focus on the negative sides, the business sides or the numbers sides.
At least Tatty, Yama and I clearly still like the music and fun side of things and are passionate about that.

chill? boring you mean
.
thebadguy is dearly missed
and i also personally wished he could show more restrain towards the mods
.

A dopamine detox might be what you're looking for if you think drama is the solution to being bored.
It's ironic. This is a forum about K-pop, something that's meant to entertain. K-pop is meant to spark numerous discussions about the entertainment aspects of this genre.
Yet we're finding ourselves bored? There's a problem going on here.
I joined AKP in 2018 hoping for wholesomeness and connection with other K-pop fans. It wasn't until later, when I got more involved, that I began to realize how negativity and hate are the default setting for this place. There's something very wrong with that.

i had fun with his snarky personality (as long as he stayed respectful of course), if you/or others don't like that typa of things just don't engage with him
.
he made many threads and just made the forum more dynamic. he had his positive sides too
.
i don't know about negativity but because there is so many toxic stuff and sometimes terrible stuff that happens in the kpop industry, there is bound to find some remnents on this forum i guess
.
but i agree that being part of this forum, everyone should stay respectful and cordial towards each other. there is no need to turn kpop issues into personal conflicts on here.
i think people should just chill in the way they treat and interact with each other, that i totally agree with. but there is always bound to be divergence in opinions on various matters. that's just human nature
.
you mods definitly don't have an easy job for real
.

Till this day I have no idea why he was banned, I wasn't keeping up with his activities here tbh, but seeing how some are saying he got a loooot of wp and a few ban then he should've calmed down a little.
Being controversial isn't wrong (imo), but you should know where and also not tag others fandom taglists....

honestly, i don't know the situation well. im not a mod you know. im sure he would say something different from his pov. like maybe he thought his bans waren't deserved or something idk.
regardless, i just find the whole situation pretty sad because he was my friend and i thought for the most part, he had a big and fun presence on this forum
. i also wished he behaved more wisely and accepted the mods decision for a short ban even if he disagred with it. again, i think i realize it now that mods don't have an easy job at all
.
also if bg likes njz, hearin and mhj, i think that's legit enough for him to be on a kpop forum idk, i don't even think one person can decide to which extent someone likes kpop or not... like that's personal. maybe her only liked njz music who knows?
for his defense, njz have been unable to make a comback for so long now
. i'm bored to, well in my case, thanks jennie for saving this year!

The forum will survive. Go make some new friends. You act like thebannedguy was jettisoned into space on a direct course for the sun. We will all survive.
We have FAR more important things to worry about like injunctions and new music

He was a bit better than the cookie cutter trolls on here, most of which lack a personality and I just lump into the same bucket. owned_by_irene, suelgisabs, the few akgaes, they all blend in together. Thebadguy at least had a lil pizzaz to him, granted I literally don't think I ever once saw him comment on actual k-pop music (unless it was to besmirch the fine name of babymonster), was either drama or visuals lol

bro he is one of the brightest person here and we became very close through all the hybe/ador mess
.
we fought tiressly to defend the girls and ador side over and over while you were hiding
. why so heartless yama? how can you judge me
.
honestly what happend last year was so shocking
. hopefully it will end soon
.
brighter days ahead are coming for everyone

I have yet to see you and Tatiana1820 get in the ring and battle it out for MHJ's love

Trust me. I liked him as a person. I really try to get to know users for who they are instead of just their forum persona because people are way more complex than how they portray themselves on here.
I joined this forum to make friends with other K-pop fans, and as much as it pains me to say this place isn't what I thought it was, I still make the effort to get to know people. I understand not everyone genuinely cares about each other on here. I dislike how that's the default. I won't be able to change that, but there's a part of me that's emotionally attached to this place, likely due to nostalgia.
You can't help people who don't want to be helped, and as much as I wish the best for him, his approach just wasn't good for him or others.
AKP shouldn't be a place for bored, attention-seeking people to come to, desperate to get a reaction out of people.
I know the higher-ups won't like it when I say I don't care about generating activity and traffic just for the sake of boosting activity and traffic. The cheapest and laziest way to do that was to generate negativity instead of prioritizing real, constructive discussion. That's been the norm for way too long, and it sadly manifested itself in the very culture of AKP.

Tahts exactly it though, you are his friend, so you see this through rose tinted glasses.
I actually THOUGHT I was his friend as well, until he decided that the HYBE/NJ drama was more important than that and started abusing me any time I posted in the megathread, then on other threads. I asked him to stop. He went harder. I reported a post of his about it, he sent me an abusive message.
He started getting personal with insults to Daisy, constantly.

I guess mods took his word for that.

Oh he be GOOOOOONEEEEEE!

Put him on trial!!!
Let the peeps of AKP be his jury

Oh he be GOOOOOONEEEEEE!
mmm yes, I thought it smelled less of sh*t here.

For some he must have been harmless as he agreed with their point of view and never bothered them, even supported them. (I'm not judging anyone for this.) But for anyone else he was someone who will quote you out of the blue even with the most peaceful threads and say the nastiest things to get a reaction. They could have avoided the ban if they listened to the mods and tried to keep bounderies. I guess it doesn't matter to me anymore as I have blocked them and am quite good at not reading what blocked users says but he enjoyed bothering the mods who already have too much on their plate so I would say his ban is a good thing. Moderators are human beings too, let's respect them with not using them as playthings.
