And every member in Korea has made many rounds on the top Korean YT channels doing varieties and interviews.

And the cherry on top? Even the lesser known member Hitomi just won her first music show with her new rookie group.

That's 11 out of 12 members making waves in Korea, with Nako booked and busy in Japan.

I think MNET knew what they were doing. When it comes to investing millions to putting on a survival show then funding multiple expensive comebacks, you cant be messing around and letting Joe Q Rando from the public make literally the most important decisions (choosing the actual members).

Yep, the rumors are her and mah girl Jo Yuri were the ones getting rigged.

But nobody should be caring about all that noise. Both girls have already proven their worth, Chaewon is one of the finest dancers in Kpop, can hit her notes, has a squeaky high pitch tone that is somehow still very attractive, and is a ninja when it comes to secret stan attracting lol. Girl never makes those top 10 idol brand lists but boy oh boy, the way she attracts stans is insane.

31 MILLION VIEWS, and almost 20k comments for this rando Japanese cover song Not sure any other 4th gen idol can come close to these numbers lol.

I think it's unfair to say Chowon wouldn't fit because we just don't know. She's a talented idol with one of the best vocals, so maybe it could've worked.

If the rumored idols are true, then they made the right choice business wise. Chaewon is one of the best idols today. If I had to pick the most well rounded idol, then she would be on top of my list. I think highly of Chaewon, so it is what it is regarding that

I do feel it sucks to miss out on the kpop lottery because every member that were in iz*one ended up being very successful. Meanwhile, she ends up in a struggling group that is neglected by a big company. It would've been nice for the people that were loud for on social media actually supported Lightsum. They've made some good songs, but it seems they'll never break out

Such bitterness will never leave, especially when she is even passed over in Cube itself, which treats oon Sangah as some kind of hope. It seems Jeon Soyeon, who calls the shots in Cube, for some reason likes Sangah.

I agree that bitterness will never leave because she missed out on the kpop lottery

hmmm, I don't think that's the case with Soyeon and Lightsum. Idle interaction with the group is very limited. I think only Miyeon and Soyeon did a challenge with Lightsum members. I think Cube forgets they exist, and most likely in trouble when they debut a new girl group soon.

I do agree that Cube thinks Sangah is their best chance to go viral, but social media engagement shows Nayoung or Chowon might be their most popular member.

I am shocked Cube hasn't asked Soyeon to make a song for them. I assume she doesn't want to, but must feel awkward for Lightsum to not have that happen. Then see Soyeon work with or want to work with groups outside of Cube.
