Starship’s new girl group ‘Kiii Kiii’ is coming soon!

That might be the weirdest teaser I've ever seen, and I've seen some teasers in my day.

Yikes. A girl group debuting after another girl group in the same company rarely works well. Even bgs. I remember boyfriend stans saying starship basically sold the group to Japan to prioritize monsts x and while I was skeptical about that in the past, I really hope it won't repeat i f true. Also dislike the name of the group. Based on the teaser I hope they get some cute quirky concept that is nothing like Ive and more like wjsn chocome

I think Kpop is starting to be too childish for me, I'm too old for this cutesy style! At least, I won't have 10 faves in every gen now. I have 50 fave groups already.🤣 Most of them are still active, so I'm good. For new and young Kpop fans, these groups are perfect. I mean, back in the early 2000s it was the same for me with SNSD, Apink, OMG etc.

I can understand Starship wanting to debut more groups, they have a lot of extra money to invest and they can't rely on IVE forever.

It still seems so early, I think this group has a huge chance of being overshadowed by IVE. We're probably still a year away from any IVE member releasing a solo or going into acting and everything points towards them being very active as a group in 2025.

Hopefully this group has a different concept and style of music. I'm not sure what Starship is thinking but maybe they are worried about a new BG debut being detrimental to Cravity.

I'll still be tuning in considering how much I like both IVE and WJSN, Starship GGs have some good music.

Oh yeah, now you can definitely give up any hope of a WJSN comeback. It was never likely to happen ever since multiple members chose to not continue their contract but this is probably the final nail on the coffin.

It's gonna happen eventually. Thankfully, there are groups in the 5th gen with mature concepts and old enough members. I'm sure agencies will do that in every gen. This cutesy style is the trend nowadays again.

The only way of these two groups to be able to coexist without one taking a toll is if they're completely different from each other. This kiii kiii group must have a very clear image and concept too because what truly harmed craviy was the lack of direction. About wjsn... I think it's more likely that they will work as soloists now. Exy is doing well as a producer for starship too.

For now from the teasers and name alone I'll give them a try. I like the name (for personal reason ) and the teaser looks interesting, they being represented by gems is nice too. Let's see what they'll bring to kpop.

I specially like Ive music, MonstaX too, I liked Sistar. Overall Starship does a pretty good job in kpop.

Yeah I'll be seated because starship can have flaws but making bad music isn't one of them. The members seem nice so far too. Hope they can surprise us in the best way possible.

Yep and I wouldn't worry if I were a dive. I doubt starship would want competition in their own company. Ive is too big in their own market already, I'm sure they'll try something different to also have a new market to "own up".

Better have 2 ways of getting money than just 1 and splitting it.
