I don't think the company imposed anything. Swan had already posted on social media that she really liked "stay a little longer". I guess they just chose songs that they liked.
To be fair, that's what the poster says, the girls choose the songs.

The second girl has an ok tone.
Swan has a really great tone though, rare in Kpop where 90 percent of idols sound the same.
Her Defying Gravity was not bad at all, and not fully autotuned i actually heard her some pitch variability which means this shit was at least partially raw and legit. I'd like to see her go up against mah girl Morissette, the legit king of this epic piece, one of the best Broadway songs ever conceived.
