Kpop need to bring back LIVE BAND!

I don't think it's newsflash to anybody here, that I prefer LIVE singing to lip sync, overused autotune, and pitch correcting, but one esential element of Music is missing from MAINSTREAM Kpop for ages, and that's the LIVE BAND!

Shows on Youtube, like "It's Live" is a good example why performing with a band is much better than anything else, even tho, the video itself is still edited, and the vocals in many cases are fixed, but it still sounds great, because of the band! So, here are some examples from the past, and the present! You can share your faves as well!

When and how was a live band more in mainstream kpop before?

Not sure about boy groups, but in the past couple of years, it's not common at all. I can hardly see many MAINSTREAM Kpop groups doing a concert with a band. Looks like Stray Kids are an example as well.

Back in 2nd gen and even the early 3rd gen years were more common, we even get live performances with a band before the concert, like the 2nd MAMAMOO video in my first post.

I think it's not a trend anymore, because it's hard to travel with a whole band Worldwide, and it's also more expensive as well. Also, we live in a digital era, so it's easier to use backtrack, but a lot of problems comes with it as well.

Now that you mentioned, I need more Live Albums as well. That's also not a trend anymore. To be fair, most groups have a DVD version, but still, a digital audio version is better for traveling.

This 2nd one was dope! This was only for Japan and probably Korea or everywhere? They sound so much better without the autotune! Someone really needs to slap JYP.
