Babymonster being from YG who's gg has never not done well in korea and the hype for MEOVV being the first Teddy's first own gg

For now Babymonster definitely seemed to have more potential tho its hard to bet on MEOVV without knowing how capable their label actually is at promoting a kpop group since they have never done it before

YGE has the money to keep promoting baemon while Teddy just has his name that as shown already isn't impactful enough for his own gg so Baemon.

Also, I don't believe they can recover from the initial disappointment that was their debut. They may grow with time but will most likely be at similar level.

BABYMONSTER is officially BP's successor and that's just a fact...but neither group will ever be able to fill the shoes of those 4 extraordinary women.

If we compare BM and Meovv to BP in terms of impact and success, they both flopping so hard. On the other hand, in terms of impact and similarity to Blackpink, I would say Meovv is really similar to BP and gives off the same vibe as BP. Both MEOVV and BP have four members and they have that elegant vibe that BP has. Other than that, I think Meovv's style is closer to BP than BM. Also, I personally find the personalities of Meovv's members to be similar to BP's early years. In conclusion, no group can even come close to Blackpink, but if it's a must to compare and be close, I would say Meovv is the successor to BP.

Why does blackpink need to have a successor?

I don't think Meovv will have any big success, their chance is if they conjures up one or two really big hits that blows up and put them in the spotlight. Not impossible, but not very likely either. But I think BP and BM takes too much of the hype so not much is left for Meovv. Their members are also feeling a bit genertic and boring. At least Toxic felt a bit more intresting compared to their previous song.

The age of shelving older groups are gone.

Also, Meovv > BM.
