I was thinking K-pop at the moment reminds me of K-pop ten years ago, when BIGBANG was still active and the members were having solo and subunit projects quite frequently. 2NE1 and SISTAR were doing their thing, too.
We're going through a special time when 4th gen is thriving, 5th gen is coming around, 3rd gen is experimenting with solo projects, and 2nd gen realized they're still in demand!
Taeyang hasn't been releasing anything new, but he's still active in touring. It's great to see.

I was just thinking how this Era reminds me a bit of the Golden Era (2nd gen). This year has been making me feel good when I remember kpop from 10 years ago. Even the greatest lost we had in 2014, Jessica leaving SNSD, vibes with the losses we’re having now lol It’s an amazing time to be a kpop fan and we’re gonna miss it so much someday. I’m happy to be living this moment right here and right now, aw 🥹
Baby Monsters are really growing into their identity and I love that for them
