Wow you love more old Aespa sound
I just can’t listen to Next Level and savage!
Every time it plays I listen to Next level until the change after 2 nd verse, and stop when Savage reaches its chorus(I hate antidrops)
But why you didn’t enjoy Supernova&Armageddon as much as Next level and Savage?
Yeah hot mess is their worst song. Stupid SM should’ve chosen Sun and Moon instead of Hot Mess as tt
I love both Supernova and Armageddon, but Next Level to Savage back to back can’t be topped imo
it’s truly iconic and just feels nostalgic now 
I think they’ll always be my top 2 because how nostalgic they are and how unpredictable these eras were
Mys thought aespa would go left and they went right. Truly did their own thing and it was iconic. I think nowadays we’re naturally more in sync with Aespa’s sound so nothings really surprising anymore. I still love their music and direction but it was amazing to experience the eras where we had to expect the unexpected 
Hot mess is a Hot mess
it sounds lazy and like a bside miss. Not sure why that was their Japanese debut tt

1. Supernova (genius quirky fresh bop)
2. Armageddon (epic mega bop)
3. Dreams come true (looove the song)

Ps: id like to mention than most of my favorite aespa tracks (apart of my top 3/5) are b sides like:
Welcome to my world, I'll make you cry, Illusion (legendary b sides
) and more...Overall aespa's music is really a miss or hit and there is no in between for me!

They have a strong discography, and lots of great b-sides as well.

1. Armageddon - Epic Aespa is my fave form of Aespa
3. Girls - underrated, as above
4. Black Mamba - aged so well, the instrumental is so good

5. Supernova - catchy bop but doesn't have epic vocal bridge that
6. Savage - wish the chorus wasn't an anti drop and built on the amazing pre-chorus instead
7. Spicy - same deal as Supernova with the bridge
8. Dreams Come True - they killed it, the bridge where it goes from Giselle through to Winter is so good, but wish the english parts were tidied up, and the alien rap was actual words

9. Forever - love it but wish they went a bit harder on the vocals, like it's too controlled if that makes sense
10. Next Level - so good, but least smooth transitions between different parts compared to their other similar songs, also I think I overplayed it

11. Better Things - good, but not the epic Aespa I like
12. Hot Mess - grown on me, but just doesn't have the quality of their k-titles
13. Life's Too Short - like the message, and it was at a time when it was really appropriate but the song is pretty generic otherwise

Yes SM is stupid to choose hot mess over “Sun and Moon” which was very good r&b song
Even zoom zoom is better than hot mess

Savage is probably in my top 5 worst kpop songs, unfortunately. Whoever came up with that chorus needs to be shot out of a cannon into the sun. Armageddon is also bad but not as much.
Yeah hold on tight is my jam too, since I love Russian music and culture
I understand why you don’t like savage(I hate that chorus too), but rest of the song is a masterpiece!
But I won’t agree that Armageddon is bad
It has superior beat and dynamics! This song is too good!

I won’t agree with your take about drama
Drama is the best song released in 2023, along with Perfume by Nct djj and I am by Ive!Aespa’s bsides are always hit or a miss for me, but their tts are bops almost every time

We have very similar taste and preferences!
About forever- the song is too long and boring for me, their worst ballad!
Better things- I don’t personally like Afro beat thus I don’t like the song, though last chorus hits hard
Life’s too short- is a nice song with nice message, but too underwhelming for me as well
