All this Kakao selling off Kakao Entertainment including its subsidiaries news got my conspiracy antenna twitching. I think it's feasible that Bang himself could acquire Starshit and begin the process of reuniting Izone.
Remember how i posted just a day or two ago about Wonyoung and Yujin wearing the exact same hair as their One Reeler comeback in Izone? This was very recent. Remember Wonyoungie using Izone's most famous phrase in a bts content for Ive (oh my gadnis!!)? This was also very recent.
I dont believe in coincidences. Starshit has gone to incredible lengths to erase Izone from their histories. The fact that these "dog whistles" have happened means something. Wonyoung in particular has been incredibly careful to never mention or even allude to Izone like EVER. She NEVER slips up. Yet she did and it wasnt edited out by Starshit.
So hear me out. We got Starshit on the auction block. We got Bang PD who wants to raise his public image and who has always held a love for Izone. We got Starshit worth about 70 million, Bang PD worth about 1.9 billion by himself. He could do it. He could easily buy the entire company by himself, he wouldnt need to spend any Hybe cash even.
Once Wony and Yujin are in the fold with Sakura and Chaewon, that's already 4 of the top 6 most popular members. The rest of the Korean members would all come, no question about it. Yena, Yuri, Eunbi, Chaeyeon, Hyewon, and Minju. Minju would come as a part time member if Eunbi was in charge as she would be. Yena, Eunbi and Chaeyeon publicly have stated repeatedly how much they miss Izone. Yuri is more of a wild card, she might actually become too big for even Izone if Squid Games 2 propels her to the stratosphere of Korean acting. I still think she comes, she wont give up her idol/singing career that easily. Hyewon was the one that liked performing the least, but with Eunbi there, i think Hyewon could easily be talked into coming back as well.
This wont happen right away even if Bang buys Starshit tomorrow. Ive and LSRFM will probably be kept separate, both make great money now. But behind the scenes, Bang could be working the phones to get all the other members onboard.
Imagine all the positive press that would flow to him if he is seen as the champion to reunite Izone. Imagine an Izone reunion project in 2026, five years after disbandment.
