Anyway ofc I don’t blv the govt has any right to do anything like this. The contract is between the fans and the idols. Truth is many don’t mind the backtrack or lip synch and want to enjoy their idols looking perfect. As is their prerogative I guess.

As you remember, prior to covid, backtrack was forbidden and only live vocals were allowed on Eurovision. "Backtrack" was actual live backing vocals that weren't as loud as singers. And then covid came and ruined everything. They wanted to have as fewer people on stage and they allowed it. And instead of forbidding it again it ended up staying

This is actually a good example because fans of Eurovision were complaining and wanted only live vocals back. They said that singers don't have to sing anymore. I don't want to name names but some artists were really lip syncing. Not that Ebu listened to fans. But kpop fans don't care

Yea this is why I enjoy true performers like my favorite group infinite they always sing live they use very little to no backtrack at all you hear their vocals live and in some cases the noise cancellation fails and you can hear them breathing during the dance.

Exo does this too and will flex on people who say they don't sing lol like when everyone got owned by baekhyun and chen
