Can we expect Blackpink OT4 comeback during summer?

I'm hoping for a collab single for the summer and a group comeback with a mini album around October.

Well, I think I have seen YG's draft schedule which BP's placed on June's comeback. So far, other solo releases really follow that draft release. So, I think it is not impossible for BP OT4 comeback

I think they might drop a group cb after Lisa's solo and Jisoo's solo might be early next year.

Personally, I think they need to do a group cb to keep their momentum going in the West.

We better get Lisa’s solo this year as promised! As for a group comeback, there is time for us to get that too. Who knows with YG. I guess we will have to wait until early 2022 for Jisoo’s solo, but I don’t mind because three solos in one year seems like it wouldn’t give them enough time to promote individually without feeling rushed. Lisoo deserve the time to shine too.

That's kinda a recipe for disaster lol especially since it's going to be full english & idk if they will be able to promote physically in the US by then...

It's just Rose is now promoting, Lisa is in Youth with You, Jennie news about GD dating was out, and Jisoo will be in kdrama 'Snowdrop' as far as I remember 1st episode will be aired somewhere around early June.
In addition to that, we get news here and there about new CF's and photoshoots.

Last week of August - to mid of September this seems a good time for BP comeback

Usually they release a track or few in june, so who knows. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

Normally I'd agree but releasing a BP single in May isn't feasible cause jisoo would still be busy with her drama + YG loves their 9 months-12 months hiatus between BP releases lol & Lisa single has been completed since 2019!!!

It ensures the TT will chart to its max potential & the album will also reach its max potential on streaming platforms due to lack of MV release to distract blinks on YouTube

Ultimately as long as the collab has better line distribution than IC & is actually 3:20 long lol I think it'll be well received

Yeah, I don't want the TT to BP's next album to be a collab. I didn't know Blinks wanted it to be. I've always maintained that my ideal strategy for BP going forward would be to start doing English tracks that were either just singles or mini albums. If they're collabs with western producers or artists, it didn't matter.

But then the Korean comebacks would be separate from those. Don't mind those having collabs as well, but I certainly don't want them to be the TT.

EDIT: I see what you're saying. You want them to have a pre-release months before the next album/mini and it be a collab with maybe a western producer/artist. This would be like if they combined HYLT/Ice Cream strategy-wise. If that's the case, I don't mind that.

But what I'm getting at is that I feel BP should have a group comeback sooner than October. And because I don't think it'll be a Korean comeback, ie Teddy produced/sprearheaded, it could/should be a collab in the summer.
