TBH, shrug.
If they get more promotion in America, it just means their next single will be even more successful.

OTG is over-processed to the point of being comical. Compare her vocal sound on the first lines of the song to how she sounds in the first "look at me I'm never comin down". Totally different, because there's so much processing on the rest of the track she might as well be singing through a vocoder.
Like Water has more natural vocals (don't get me wrong, there's still some processing there, but it's a WHOLE lot less).
If you have two tracks to showcase a singer who's supposed to be one of your main vocals, why not just let them sing, why distort the heck out of their voice? idgi. So Like Water for me. At least when she's in full belt, you can actually hear what she sounds like.

I enjoy how SOPE are back there doing their thing, and Tae is like "Look at me!"
I'm just here for the akorns, don't mind me
You deserve all the hearts just for the Robin Hood reference.
Every tweet on this thread is unavailable, and that statement said absolutely nothing about releasing an album or single in may (it said they'd release one in the first half of the year, and they already released Film Out).
So I'm highly skeptical.
This legit might be one of my favorite songs. I sing the chorus to myself when I'm at the end of my rope. "I am gonna make it through this year if it kills me"
Edit: the live version with Stephen Colbert is surprisingly good too.
The concept is that if people vote for trainees and form emotional attachments to the group because they care whether or not they'll be eliminated, they'll follow them and spend more money on them after they debut.
That's it, that's the whole concept.
So Iz*One was put together after a survival show, and never intended to last long, because if the company keeps supporting the group, they can't do another survivor show. The whole cycle lets the company do a survivor show, keep the group while they're still in public consciousness (because emotional attachment to who they voted for), then send the trainees on to maybe debut elsewhere and anchor those groups by drawing attention and already being popular while the company does another survivor show.
Funny how Cherry Blossom Ending and Spring Day both have Spring themes, as well as arguably Wildflower and Not Spring Love Or Cherry Blossoms.
Moral of story: write yo'self a spring song.

Both tweets unavailable?
It's interesting to see Queen above the Beatles. I love both of them, don't get me wrong, but I would have expected that order to be flipped.
I wonder if it's the influence of the film Bohemian Rhapsody, which gave a big promotional boost to Queen.
It's almost like with 200 songs, streams get spread over the whole catalogue.
Probably because they haven't signed a release for their image use.
I sense a theme.
Can the words "to anyone" (written out in english) stop being linked to the 2ne1 entry on the wiki? They're used WAY too often in a wide variety of contexts for that link to be useful. Anyone referring to the group will REFER TO THE GROUP by name, not with the english written-out words. And it's distracting in some contexts, where it could be a link to sources but just turns out to be a link to a lex entry.
Edit: Sorry for editing, but an example is this entry (Controversial opinion incoming #5), where the user might be referring to the "anyone" they've mentioned, so users might want to follow the link to see what's up. But nope.
DNA tests have other purposes than parental testing. If they were mandatory, the companies wouldn't necessarily have to include parental data with the results. But DNA tests can tell you if the child has an abnormality or disease that could be dangerous, and allow them to get treatment or plan for accomodations at the earliest opportunity. I think that's valuable enough to mandate them. Just write into the law that parental data won't be included unless requested.
Why tease it? If you have receipts that will stand up when the lawyers come calling, just make a post. If you don't then stfu.
That is insane. They dance better than most kpop groups on the market now. That footwork is CRAZY.
This clip is like the definition of "Expectation... and reality".
He volunteers as tribute!
