do you think nct dream deserved the daesang award?

Daesang for what? Nobody talk about them

record of the year.. what does it even mean.. and why did they make it seem like it was the main award

they had their best year of their career by far when it comes to korean charting and especially considering how currently active bgs chart over there. idk the criteria for record of the year tbh so idk if this daesang in particular makes sense for them but their 2023 did deserve to be acknowledged.

They were deserving considering how Candy performed like a gg song being in the chart for almost a year

They do deserve male artist of the year but record of the year sounds too made up. If they weren't announced last and if it wasn't so overhyped the way it was announced, I think people would mind less.

no it doesn't make sense at all it makes me wonder why it was eliminated in 2020 it was around the time bp released HYLT it was one of their biggest year then

Candy was huge in korea and have long tracking time.

But if we talk about "record" of 2023 year, i think others group have more impressive "record"

But once again it is 100% depend on jury so I cant say they not deserved for this award. So congratulation for Dream!

Anyway probably between a dead group who’s not gonna attend the award show and one that will they chose the other.

looking at melon chart only in 2023 it would have made more sense in theory if seventeen had taken it. but since seventeen did not attend, they gave it to nct dream who would have also deserved it. not the most accurate outcome but not by any means undeserved considering the performance of candy.

Seventeen?? No. Dream doing better than seventeen in Melon's chart.

I think all the shows are rigged in one way or another.

If it's for candy then I guess. I really can't name any other boy group song that was as big as Candy in Korea.
