That's so silly and petty, lol. The crowd seemed unresponsive, almost to all the girl groups' performances. When Newjeans and Ive received their awards, some fans of boy groups turned off their lightsticks, and there wasn't much cheering during their speeches.
I'm curious why these bg fans dislike these groups so much, why did they to their faves? It's not like these groups are stealing awards from their beloved babies. If there's someone who shouldn't win, it's obviously not them.
Additionally, these award show too still appears to favor boy groups. Why is the Roty announced last with grand confetti, while in the past, the main events were always Aloty, Aoty, and Soty? And coincidentally, it's also happened on the year when gg dominating the main awards. We don't even know the criteria for this award or how someone can win it.
Another note, but as much as I hate Armys they usually really supportive especially towards girl groups. Please bring them back to the crowd please.
