The English release was a mistake. (G)I-DlE are popular for their own written songs. I hope and wish Soyeon will write hits again and (G)I-DLE will be at the top, as I hope for other girl groups.
The rise of girl groups began in the first half of 2022. In the second half of 2022 and the first half of 2023, the girl groups earned many million sellers and were on par with boy groups.
With the second half of the year, a hysterical run on boy groups began in Korea and it seems that many hearts have turned against girl groups. Only NewJeans and IVE were able to hold their own to some extent.
It's time for girl groups to have a great time and boy groups to have a lean time, that would be more than fair!
