It is the only answer. BTS built Hybe and now their girl groups have uranium privelgde that trumps the Big 3 combined. As long as we're keeping it 100%, this should not trigger anyone who can accept this simple fact.

Everything can be solved with money and BTS made tons of it for Hybe to do whatever the heck they want

Money and the Hybe name doesn't guarantee breakout success (example: fromis 9).

LSF had Sakura and Chaewon. NewJeans had MHJ. Odds were in their favor pre-debut and they were able to capitalize and execute.

Now that the low hanging fruit has been picked, it'll be interesting to see how subsequent groups like I'll-IT and Dream Academy will fare.

Well, for one, BTS helped HYBE earn more than enough money to begin building successful girl-groups. That money led to them being able to buy/acquire a large percentage of Pledis, which already had a girl-group signed under it at the time (GFriend) Having GFriend under HYBE probably helped them learn at least a little bit about how to properly make and manage a girl-group.

But they also created ADOR and acquired Source Music which were probably the biggest factors in them creating successful girl-groups. They made Min Hee-jin the CEO of ADOR and Min Hee-jin had already been working with a few bigger girl-groups before joining HYBE (She did visual branding for Girl's Generation, f(x), Red Velvet, EXO, and SHINee), so she kind of knew her way around girl-groups and how they worked.

Also, the staff that managed BigHit's failed girl-group GLAM aren't managing HYBE's current girl-groups, which is another reason why NewJeans and Le Ssserafim succeeded.

It never existed. Their first girl group didn’t end because of a curse it ended because the members tried to commit a crime.

to those saying BTS, i dont deny them making HYBE the huge company it is, has definitely helped the new GGs BUT imo the following are also important:

1) They bought SouMu which had handled Gfriend before, to handle LE SSERAFIM

2) LE SSERAFIM has 2 ex-Izone members + 1 ex trainee from PD48

3) They hired MHJ to create Newjeans

4) and they have money to do playlisting / promo than before

fromis 9 contract will not be renewed if they show no significant improvements in sales and charting, just like gfriend!
