I just gotta say. 4th gen has a solid leader base between NewJeans, Stray Kids, TXT, IVE, Gidle, LSRFM, Aespa but the 3rd gen had suuuuuuch strong groups in lower tiers that i just NEED to shout out my original Girl Group stan, my accounts namesake (Bang Minah), Girls’ Day!!!

A pure pop song with a little bit of a 50s twist that honestly solidified my love for Girls’ Day when i heard it. The video panders to men but like… its so cute idk what to say it works on even my little gay heart and the song is SO positive it makes me feel soooo happy.

Their music was soo amazing !

I love most of their title tracks (including Ring My Bell, what's the problem with that song ?). I dislike Darling tho.

It came right at the tail end of the late 2nd gen R&B / Sexy Renaissance.

Minah is God Tier on this.

There were a lot of 2nd tier second gen GGs that seemed to make noise. Seemed a lot deeper than it was in third gen when it was literally just TW/BP/RV and then later OMG at the very top. MMM, Apink, Brave Girls, AOA, EXID and Gfriend were the 2nd tier groups for third gen.

I will fight you. Do not choose violence today, or act like Mamamoo wasn't top tier just like the Big 3 girl groups at their peaks. Mamamoo could surprise drop a B-Side and top all the digital charts. Not to mention GFriend in 2016.

The top of the 3rd generation was 5 groups not 3.

Also, OP, I love all of Girl's Day's biggest hits but they are 2nd gen, like everyone said.
