Listen, I am no church mouse okay? I have done party drugs: weed (it's meh), LSD (it's nice), ecstasy (it's bad, do not do it), mushrooms (10/10 very good), speed (it's meh). So I am not clutching my pearls going "How dare they?"
But I am aware when I do them that I am in a country with very strict drug laws, if I get caught and go to jail I won't be like "Well it's just weed." For me the problem isn't the drugs themselves, the problem is that these celebrities do these things and use their power and privilege to get away scot-free until they eventually get caught again. This is GDs what? Second drug scandal? Is there a member of BB who hasn't been caught with drugs?
These celebrities know their culture, know their country and their laws, and do these things anyway. That means (to me) that they do not care and just rely on their power to get away with it. Personally, that is a worse indication of the person they are than just the drugs.
For me, I have stopped doing mushrooms, mostly because the risk is too great. I wouldn't just be jailed I would be deported back to my country (which is 10x times worse). I understand how severe the consequences are and that it's not worth the risk. But they clearly feel differently because they know they can use their power and influence to get away with things. And they do many times, sure the luck eventually runs out but they do get away with it more often than not.
