I don't think so, groups that make more than one CB cannot be expected to increase their sales all the time. But Txt and Skz's sales are always increasing, even though they make CB's very frequently.

We are seeing what distribution does for sales. I think they’re is a sweet spot between distribution and sales that yields the maximum profit. So like selling like 1 million with limited distribution earns more than selling 2 million from increased distribution.

So like maybe with NCT 127, unless they could sell 3 or 4 mil maybe the increased distribution wasn’t worth the cost.

This is all just my hypothesis tho lol.

Though NCT does come back a LOT even if it is units. Even their fans must feel buyer fatigue at some point.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. Most local stores nowadays count for Hanteo at least in my country. I mean, I got that they are making less money if they are not directly selling the albums but still, since most count for Hanteo it should not lower album sales on Hanteo.

You'd have to be insane to think an act that was selling 100k for like 3 albums back to back before reaching the million seller status would collapse to sub 50k.

And for nct, we all know how SM handles older generations albums preorders after new groups are announced or debut so a decline is expected.
