We are seeing what distribution does for sales. I think they’re is a sweet spot between distribution and sales that yields the maximum profit. So like selling like 1 million with limited distribution earns more than selling 2 million from increased distribution.
So like maybe with NCT 127, unless they could sell 3 or 4 mil maybe the increased distribution wasn’t worth the cost.
This is all just my hypothesis tho lol.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. Most local stores nowadays count for Hanteo at least in my country. I mean, I got that they are making less money if they are not directly selling the albums but still, since most count for Hanteo it should not lower album sales on Hanteo.
