2NE1 absolutely would have been better but also, yes, sadly too soon. But they felt like the 2nd Gen group closest to an American breakthrough for sure. There was a moment in the 'serious' music community around 2010-2011 where people got really interested in them.

Secondly their level of performances won't work with new gen. They were good for their times and excused stage presence for lack of dancing skills

I feel bad for you, both f(x) and bigbang ended in flames. It’s unfortunate, I’d have lived for an f(x) comeback but I know it’s pretty much an impossibility and it’s looking that way for bigbang too…

I'm in the minority for sure, but as someone who didn't grow up with BigBang -- a lot of their stuff is super corny
