ITZY usually gets ads on the 2nd day. Stray Kids and TWICE get ads on mid day, after like 12 hours of release. And for NMIXX It runs the ads since the beginning. The divisions just operate diferently.

Apparently, ITZY already has ads by now, I saw fans mentioning on twitter a hour ago. So you don't need to be SO concerned.

YT ads are overrated anyway. The biggest girl groups barely uses YT ads.

Ppl can blame them all they want for buying views. It was the toxic kpop fans of the pervious eras who pioneered this obsession with streaming and using views as validation.

All 4 Divisions at JYPE are independent of each other with their own budgets and earnings, Itzy is the only Artist in Division 2, so the money they earn will be spent on themselves

In September 2019 Youtube changed their policies to not include paid ad views in the first 24 hours of a video.

NMIXX's pre-release Rollercoaster had 15.8m first 24 hour Youtube Views which is massive for a GG of any generation. But 4 weeks later, Rollercoaster sits on 27m views suggesting that JYPE or rather Division 4 spent next to no money on Youtube Advertising.

On the other hand, Itzy has definitely taken a fall from Youtube Views when comparing the lack of views for their pre-releases, the likely reason is a general lack of interest in the group. The drop of interest is normal for Kpop GGs after their Rookie Years, especially after 2022 that debut NEWJEANS, Le SSerafim and NMIXX.

This is outright confirmed. People have screencaps of getting an Nmixx ad in the first 24 hours, as well as many many other videos, both kpop and other, where this occurs.

No, it counts for the purposes of what's on the video. What they won't allow ads to do is be used to establish new records. That was implemented during the arms-race T-Mobile was doing.

There was a rush to get certification of "highest views in 24 hours" and so Youtube put out a policy stating any certification of that won't use ads.

The ads still show on the view count of the video.
