I don't have a problem with idols or other artists not being able to pronounce words in a language that they're not fluent in. Be it Jisoo or Chungha i think it's disrespectful to judge them on that. Just have the same energy for all, you all just pick and choose on who it is ok to do it to.

this happens in pretty much every country, except for Japan. If you speak in broken/mispronounced, the locals laugh at you and stuff. I've had plenty of ahjummas laugh at me with my mediocre korean.

Op I hope you realise that you shooted your whole argument in its figurative face with that comment about Chungha. You basically showed that you're only indignant because it happens to someone you like and not because you truly believe making fun of idols accents is wrong in itself.

Anyway, the people who make fun of idols accents when speaking foreign languages probably never had to learn a foreign language and use it conversationally in a relatively short time period.

Some NCT members speak up to 5 languages and it's incredibly admirable how hard they work and try to communicate with fans.
