Gambling is legal in Nevada and is a few hours drive away. I'm not the gambling type but have gone on occasion. Air Show, Motorcycle rally, Car Shows, BBQ competition and accompany family on gambling trips.
I have no Iuck and find things to do besides gamble all the time. Usually involves spectating family member gambling. it is exciting to watch and you get free drinks. XD
Casinos are all Adult spectacles where no minors allowed in the gambling areas. Not to be dismissed Minors have impressive video arcades to play.
Las Vegas is further away and its a mind blowing place. Next next next level Casinos. As a non-gambler type its got so much to do besides gambling.
The most luck I have at gambling is Horse Racing. Bet on the favorites to win an by the end of the Day you'll of brake even or won a few bucks. Other gambling types its a matter of controlling money hemorrhage. XD
I watch family members win and win big. One can play Black Jack for hours and win. Another plays on Hot strikes and lucks out. A few are consistent at winning. Generally most of us are lucky just to break even. Loss is caulked up to the cost of being entertained. Bonus is great dining the Casinos.

Maybe for experience, but I would not put much money into it, because I know house always wins.

I’ve been before! Someone wanted me to go with them. I “hit” on slots!
..Not something I don’t do regularly although casinos in my area also have entertainment venues to lure people in.

Casinos are fun, but I enjoy it more for the good food and people watching more than the gambling. Las Vegas has great buffets!

I only play online. Casinos in my town are depressive as hell

I've been to many Casinos since before I was gambling age because here in the U.S. many Casinos double as venues for concerts or comedy shows. Having been to many before I must say I have no desire to go to them for gambling or drinking even when I'm of age because they all reek of cigarettes (one of the few places in U.S. indoor smoking is still allowed), have gaudy eyesore decor, and the patrons drooling infront of the slot machines just appear sad and desperate for money and entertainment.
-
I've never gone, but I'll definitely go someday, because I really like playing online and I'd like to compare the feeling.

For me, it's about the entertainment value and the social aspect, too.
