I really can't predict Jennie and Rose future.

Lisa is probably the member with highest chance to leave. She got scammed by her ex manager, she earns less than the other members and so on. Unless her love for BP is bigger than her pride I don't see how she will stay in YG. But at other side I think she wants to stay in Korea.

In short, really anything can happen.

Given all the rumors at this point, one starts to assume that where there is smoke there is fire, and therefore negotiations aren't quite going smoothly. I'm super curious how this will end up.

Isn’t their contract up in August. Shouldn’t the public have heard anything by now if they were going to renew? Normally the company would disclose it as soon as possible close to the time to stabilise the situation? What is going on lol

Clearly they havent all signed, otherwise YGE would have mediaplayed the eff out of the contract renewal already lol.

I'm reading between the lines here. The girls havent acted like a Kpop group in literal years, and the girls are actually seniors in age now, maybe they all want to grow up and do other things in music and entertainment. We know how Jennie feels about idol life, the extreme toll it has taken on her body, she hinted about this three years ago tbh. This ginormous tour that they've been on feels like a grand farewell tour to me. And the girls are all such massive moneymakers that they can easily go off on their own and gross 8 figures every year for whatever label they sign under.

Add it all up and the best case scenario for Blinks is that the girls all re-sign under YGE or TBL, but primarily as solo artists with group activities limited to an occasional lightly promoted single or a "reunion" album in 2025/2026.

YG made them into the greatest girl group of all time.

SM was not going to do that, JYP style would not fit the girls.

But YG did f-up on the long hiatus.

The pinks are transferring to TBL
