Idols can easily lie to their OWN members with a smile on their face, how much easier it is to lie to random "fans"

Unless someone is born yesterday, everyone should know lying is part of professional life.

10000% true.
We are taught to always tell the truth as a kid, but if we did that as an adult, we would be broke, homeless with no friends or family to love us.

Idols lie all the time, just that instance can't be refuted by fans thanks to Mnet.
You're acting as if you know these idols on a personal level we don't know what happened behind the scenes probably Nana and Woyeon agreed on this to get more screen time and even if they didn't agree on this probably Nana didn't expect Mnet to evil edit her like this so yeah

Its not only them who lie, Politicians can lie a lot too, especially them
But I also saw some real bad liars on YT
- Youtuber lied on how much taxed he had to pay and that he would end up broke, a woman who works this as her real job reacted to it and made a math-calculation on how wrong he is with how many taxes he has to pay. The guy later on reacted to her reaction video and was like "ooops IDK how I can suck so hard in taxes"
- The time where everyone did gay pranks faking to be gay on youtube and than after months said "hey, I am actually not gay, this was just a social experiment..." bruh wtf
- Clickbait titles on videos like "Friend steals all my money!" at the end the "friend" only robbs like 20 cents
- All the fake "I rescue an animal in need" videos that make it hard for real rescue videos to get attention
- Youtuber who lie about their life to come off cooler. One example is a girl from America who's mom managed the account, in 2020 they got exposed and never did Youtube again. The mom was working in cleaning in a hotel and so she used this to get her daughter into the luxurious rooms and faked an entire "rich kid" for the internet and after she made enough money from the internet to be actually rich, everyone exposed the mom for what she did with her child. (I also remember when the girl was like 9 years old she did a disstrack-rap song against I think PewdiePie or something, thats so dumb)

All of this over Nana down vote lol
lol, what happened?

I don't think they are "lying" at all, not in the same manner you described.
They are playing characters that are assigned to them by their label. Roles about what kind of "idol" and part in the group they are to portray.
The soft, sensitive one. The cutey-pie. The slightly edgy rebellious one. The high prince/princess. etc
It's also called "Stage personas"
The "character" may align to a degree with who they really are (and would be easier to maintain if it is), but it's not TRULY indicative of who they really are behind closed doors/with close friends and family.
Some idols get big enough and popular enough that they can let the mask slip and more easily show both their stage persona (The tough, uber cool Rapper!) and their real side (just a rather laid back girly girl) but others have to "keep face" at all times they are public facing.
It's not lying, it's playing a part

lol, what happened?
Well basically on the show Queendom puzzle Mnet let Idols rate each other performances live by using a button by either down voting or up voting the performance and in one these performances Nana a member of the girl group Woo ah down voted her fellow band mate Wooyeon because maybe she didn't like her performance but to her face Nana told Wooyeon that she was good but later on it was revealed that each participants of the show will be handed an envelope in whish it reveals who down voted and up voted them and when Wooyeon discovered that Nana down voted her she cried in all of this Nana didn't know that Mnet will be handing those envelopes so yeah the usual Mnet snakery and Op is accusing all idols of being liers and what not lol when we all know that these shows are 100% scripted or that sometimes Mnet pull this type of tricks to steer some drama
