Well... I admit that I actually get a bit excited sometimes when I see that a song is composed by a Dane or someone from my country, or if the song is a remake of a song by a Danish artist. (even though the only artists I can think of are former X-factor contestants...)
Well... and the guy who sang the original version of Love Like Oxygen has composed kpop songs too.
But heck, even some American pop songs are composed by Danes and other Nordic people.
For me, I'm not that bothered by it.
I guess that people who are bothered by those kinds of songs, are maybe thinking that a song might be too "western" if it is composed by those kinds of composers.
I often like kpop songs that have some Korean traditional music inspired stuff in it, and those songs seem to be composed by only Korean composers.
Like Oneus' Lit and Luna are songs that I think of when I think of songs like that, and yup, there's only Korean songwriters involved in those two songs.
