Pretend idk that person, unless I am really close with them, if we're already close then I reveal myself too and it would be fun. If I am not even that close to that person to begin with what's the point? They would be just like any other stranger on the internet. I tend to say hi to ppl I know and talked to in previous forums, though. Not that theres many, I recognized only one person

But I don't think that user will admit it anyway. I just accidentally found them after I checked few things. I don't even think it's a good thing to find someone I know in forum like this especially when that user is quite problematic

Probably the same thing I do when I run into someone I know at the grocery store - pretend I didn't see them and quickly switch aisles (or in this case, forums).
