I do think they're being very smart by acquiring a diverse array of labels. Country, Hip-Hop, and soon to be Latin labels. That seems like a better investment. I was very surprised they went after SM at all tbh. The less they have to rely on BTS, the more BTS is free to do whatever the hell they want without burden.

I'm pretty sure that Kwaak person has an anti-Hybe, anti-BTS bias. I swear I remember his name coming up before because of some super blatant hit pieces.

I really don't have enough knowledge to make a guess, tbh. Best clue is to probably refer to Hybe's community briefings over the past couple of years to get an idea of what they want to be as a company.

not only that, but him not acquiring SM isn't a big deal.

even now as we speak, HYBE still the #1 kpop company in the industry, with a market cap in the Billions, and having multiple successful kpop Artists and American Artists under the HYBE umbrella.

so idk why people think HYBE is a flop company cuz of this situation.
