What Do MAMAMOO Have To Do To Revive Themselves As A Group?

Likely because the last time they dropped new group music was October 2022 (barely promoted), before that it was WAW (barely promoted and from June 2021) so the last CB that was really properly promoted was November 2020 with Travel and whilst they do interact and go on shows together, the focus is far more on their solo careers and its not to promote a group album so its hard to remember. They haven't even taken a group endorsement in a couple years, last I remember was Andar leggings in 2020.

its ok to fade a bit. It's been almost a decade since their debut. Sometimes its time for a group to accept that they won't achieve the popularity as they once had

I think they just need regular activities, they disappear as a group for such long stretches of time the GP forgets about them

It's Moomoos favorite song and members like it so much too, but didn't do good with the GP. Since this day MMM promised to themself to only do music they like and to don't give a fuck about GP. I recommend you Wheein last album if you like MMM slow song.

it definitely hurt EXO's popularity with the GP too that they took such a long hiatus (although it wasn't of their own choosing really with covid/enlisting).

I guess MMM is around then, but I live in Korea and I used to hear about them all the time, but now I never do. I just figured that they were on hiatus/taking big hiatuses and that's why I never heard their music in public/saw them trending on naver anymore.

Indeed they are less present on the media scene, because their company promotes them much less, it is even an assumed choice. But the fanbase is still here. They released more than 50songs last year, they're not inactive as many may think.

Their core fanbase is still there in particular in Korea. They release group songs that they like and they are also free to have solo activites and focus on their solo career when they want. Mamamoo is in a good place for me.

there is nothing that can be done for mamamoo. sad for them. very sad. at least hwasa has a career. at least.

Off-topic, but am I the only one who loves mumumumuch? I feel like people forget it exists, and rightfully so cause it's not a unique song, but it still bops tho. It has been on my playlist ever since it came out . Why did I phrase it like the song came out a long time ago, it definitely didn't.
