YG had to move BP to TBL. Imagine if this new GG debuts early next year with a full album, imagine how badly Twitter Blinks would be snapping at the new GG like the way they shaded Treasure every time Treasure had a comeback.
And honestly, i can still see Blinks shading the new GG, especially if they end up successful

.I think people is VERY confused, bp hasnt move nowhere yet, their is no new about that nowhere in korea
on paper, bp is very much still a yg artist, the only new in Korea are about ikon, bb members and that actor leaving

.I'm pretty sure it was blackpink's idea to move ( if they actually transferred there) there they always seemed more blacklabel artists introducing the new gg is more fill the spaces everybody left: ikon bb members, actors. not to mention they are using Ikon's red color as soon as it was reported that they left

is there any situation where this gg doesn't break a bunch of records? people still love YG
A lot of competition right now though. I mean, yes, Blackpink had a lot of competition as well, Twice was already NGG, RV was huge, you had Gfriend and Mamamoo as well.
But nowadays, there are seven 4th gen GGs that have caught GP attention already (Aespa, Itzy, Ive, LSRFM, NJ, Stayc, Idle) plus the holdover 3rd gen groups, plus NMIXX and Kepler still lurking. It's going to be a hella crowded field for another heavy hitter from the Big 3.
Maybe globally the group can break Ive/LSRFM/New Jeans records, but domestically, it's going to be challenging to overcome so many other groups, even with YG's reputation for GP appeal.
