Recently had this conversation with my family. I like it. It makes me happy. Listening to Twice puts a smile on my face. Listening to BTS relaxes me. Listening to Le Sserafim quenches my thirst for blood. I don't need any other reason to like K-pop other than I just want to.

why would anybody have to explain why they like a certain type of music ?
even if it's in another languages, kpop is still just another genre of music
there's no explanation, beside the fact than liking the music
it's kind of annoying that kpop fans always have to justify why they like kpop
but never see fans of western pop music or hip hop having to justify for liking cardi b, eminem, or adele....

lol, not nmixx and also not itzy.^^ kpop is for kids and minors are incapable of criminaly responsibilty. so while stan certain kpop groups may be seen as commiting criminal offense. it cant and shouldnt be punished.

I'm too respectful for that. I never expose my boring ass suburban Australian coworkers to kpop. I just stream through my work headset.

but jeah its stupid to play something for the whole workplace if you all have headsets were you can listen to your own favorite music.

I mean obviously everyone can like whatever they like and as long as they are not hurting other people everything is fair game but there are a lot of kpop fans that are borderline obsessive with how much they like certain groups and i do feel concerned about them and how much they love their idols and how they delulu themselves into thinking the idols are the way they present themselves on camera and that they care and love their fans, i think if people only liked the music or to see them in variety shows but without getting too obsessed i think people wouldn't feel or make fun of kpop the way they do, i also i am aware that is not a kpop issue since i have seen fans of other artist that are obsessed too but i think those people need a reality check too, like i said everyone is free to stan or like whatever they want but sometimes it can be concerning that's all
