People who listen to only one boygroup but alot of girl groups why?

I began to listen to both but then I realized that I was mainly coming back to girl groups music way more with the exception of BTS. I still listen to a couple of songs by Ikon, Winner, Infinite, Stray Kids, Ateez or TxT and the boy bands like the FNC groups or Day6 because I listen to pop and rock the most.

I'm like this too! Stray Kids is my token boy group I stan, and the other four are all girl groups so far. Technically I listen to other boy groups, but it's not as often, and I don't stan them, so I'll say it's close enough for the purposes of this thread. Stray Kids I listen to because they're Stray Kids. They have such a diverse and incredible discography, so no matter what mood or who I'm with, there's always the perfect song for everyone, every time. They also make their own songs too, which I like. Aside from that, I like them because of their personalities and what they're like, as well as how close they are to each other.

As for girl groups, a lot of it is because I like cute, happy songs that make you feel good. Or light and airy songs that are perfect for summer. Girl Crush also sounds really good too. Sure, boy groups do stuff like that too, but it just hits different for me when it's a girl group. I also like relating to the members a lot, which is nice. I don't really know why I listen to more girl groups than boy groups the more that I think about it, I just do.

Honestly, I don't see a reason to listen to boy groups other than Stray Kids. I wouldn't even be a kpop stan if it wasn't for them.

I have tried to listen to others in the past and continue to check out new releases but simply no one grabs me like they do. Stray Kids also have a very diverse discography so it's much easier for me to tell if I don't like something as much as SKZ's songs, if that makes sense.

Personally, I feel that a lot of boy group songs are made for...specific type of people, and I'm just not that person.

Girl groups' songs on the other hand generally feel easier to consume even if you're not a fan, somehow? I tend to find songs to casually listen to for a while even if I don't like all songs on an album. I also tend to cycle between ggs, I usually only listen to 1-2 gg's select few songs at once for some reason.

I do ult not one but two boygroups (bts and txt) but outside of that my playlists and groups I'm interested in are nearly all girl groups and female artists, at leat title track wise, it fits my tastes more

Nowadays I listen to some bgs and a lot of ggs.

I think it's because I like gg music more than bg music these days and honestly BTS is the only bg that's keeping me very invested.

Idk I mostly listen to BTS and sometimes others bgs but I guess I just like gg music overall more.

I cant relate, I listen to everything.

If we talk about Kpop in general I listen to both boy and girl groups. But from the 4th gen I listen to more ggs than bgs.
