Same...people are constantly asking "who will be the next BTS/Blackpink/Twice, etc." and it honestly does get extremely tiring. A group doesn't need to be another group to be great. All of these other groups' accomplishments are unique to them. There will never be another ___ group. It's impossible.

I don't what is people's obsession with the "next". People are their own people, not replicas of each other. Everyone's unique, don't take that away from people.

Assuming it's a temp name I think. Because you know... they are a group of trainees rn lol.

It's common to have temp names like that, for instance, KQ Entertainment's upcoming rn group is called kq fellaz, younite was called brandnewz predebut, etc. It's prolly similar in vein.

It's a dumb cyclical debate that's not great for any of the group's talked about. Let everyone stand on their own merits.

I mean, ig keeping the name is kind of punk rock. Calling yourself trainee despite being a fully debuted idol. Perhaps it’s symbolic of how you never fully stop growing and have things to learn despite already “making it” in the biz.

jk it is stupid lmao. But I think I can give whoever comes up with convoluted group and fandom names a run for their money with my genius lore writing

Of course I don't mean achieve everything BTS has, cuz that's a reach.

But who could make it in the west, image and somewhat musically???
Plus the boy group that can do really well on International and Korean charts.
Not just bulk buying album sales either

Honestly, do you think these groups want to be called the next BTS? It's insulting to everyone involved as you are basically saying there's a KPOP formula, nothing special about it. Moreover, labeling the group "the next" whatever removes some of their own identity. This is exactly why, while BTS is flattered to be compared to the Beatles, they want to be known as not the next Beatles, but as themselves- BTS.

In an interview filmed during their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour, Jungkook said, "People call us ‘the Beatles of the 21st Century’. It’s an incredible honor and I’m grateful to hear that. But I still want to be just BTS instead of the Beatles of the 21st Century. BTS like no other. I want to be something new, new people."

Personally I don't think so. And I'm saying this as a former ARMY.

BTS is amazing and is continually hitting milestones. I saw them grow from 2017 - 2019, and there is so many things I am proud of them for. Including how thankful I am for them.

For me, I totally agree with them. They want to be known as BTS, and that's what people should known them for. Not because they are this or that.

Of course any future boy groups from big hit will always be compared to BTS either we like it or not, but the least we can do is understand that each group is the best of themselves. BTS is BTS, EXO is EXO, GOT7 is GOT7, MONSTAX is MONSTAX ETC.

There will never be another group or artist like (). There is only one of them and that's for a reason.

But with that said, I think Trainee A, &TEAM, TXT, StrayKids, etc all have great qualities and achievements that should be focused on instead. 😊

The Hybe Japan group called &team or something like that. And rumour has it Trainee A gonna be called Aloners Association?

Not sure why people still don’t understand that no other group will ever come close to the success BTS had had SO FAR. I say so far because they’re not even retired. Unless they’re involved in some kind if scandal and suddenly retire, their massive fanbase will literally keep them miles ahead anybody who comes out forever.

Same goes for Blackpink.

Even with putting aside the whole “next to BTS” debate(because it abound to happen when you’re the standard), none of these groups have really done anything so big and huge to start these conversations in the first place. It’s just mediaplay at its finest
