Into The New World is a fitting title for the song that got me into kpop. 15 years ago on a day in college like any other. A friend showed me a song.
Into The New World.
I had no idea at the time how much of a change such a song would bring to my life. How immersed in Korean pop culture and kpop and kdrama I would become over the next decade and a half. How important kpop would become to my online life and to me emotionally. The songs I would discover. The idols I would cherish. The friends I would meet. The new world I would discover and become a part of.
It all started with a song. A group. And a girl called Yoona.
