Isn't Red velvet the most powerful GG ever

Red Velvet is pretty great I admit

Their popularity in Korea is always underestimated by international kpop fans for some unknown reason. The group and the members individually are super popular and the general public LOVES and consumes their music A LOT. When I was in Korea I heard RV songs in public all the time (even ZZB). They are an established act in Korean music scene and I don't know why some people doubt that, because they've proved every cb what they are worth.

I'm so happy as a fan to still get to listen to new RV music even almost 10 years since their debut which is way past the average kpop girl group "expiration date". And especially considering the track record of SM ggs, the fact that they're still around and making waves and breaking their own records just proves how relevant they still are.

10 years and still no word on possible contract renewals or otherwise...

They have like probably one of fews group who is a likeable and being favourable by public. Irene do have controversy but her controvery is actually common because everyone have a anger issue when it come to works and she did handle it very very well. Plus their music fit public taste thanks to them for releasing both red and velvet concept since early years of their debut. You must be realize how people like their red concept during their early era and slowly swipe to their velvet era in the mid of their career before fully change it to velvet concept and now public thirst for the girls to release a velevt concept everytime there an announcement of the girls comeback. Sm really did a good job for the girls career!

I would say Red Velvet probably is SMs most well received group critically speaking and worst commercially but has the best long life potential

they concept and popularity stands between twice and blackpink they don't maybe hardcore fans like them but they also have less haters compared to both and they universally loved.

Definitely. They are amazing.

A great discography and talent did that.

A lot of people underestimate them, but they're seriously successful, and it's amazing RV is still relevant even if most of the old top groups are not
