Actually they do have a taste, most people tend to say that UK actually has variety in their charts in opposite of US, even they have more ggs being big per decade than the US

Exactly just today BORNPINK charted in top 10 at half of Europe's official charts, UK, Germany, Norway, etc. I am waiting until BPStats puts out their official breakdown of top10 around the worlds to post it here, but their UK domination is very noticeable

Yeah totally giving them and destiny’s child with a bit of Aaliyah sprinkled in. Them live is even more amazing. Their harmonies are out of this world. Hoping I can see them live when they start torturing need to hear those type of vocals in person

UK's Girl Group.
Honestly, K-pop is still reeeeally niche in the UK. Which makes it even more impressive that BP hit the number one spot. I wasn’t sure how much growth they’d had in the UK market, so I am very happy for them that they are representing the Kpop girls at the top spot.
I will say though, the UK does traditionally love a girl group, so if this opens up some doors, I would not be surprised to see groups from the next gen getting good results.
