like ailee, jamie, or akdong musician???
They're ok and Ailee is great but if you wanna talk about the best of the best, you wont find it in Kpop or American pop.

I actually am a HUGE fan of pure vocals (go listen to the group Voctave, you won't be sorry no matter which song you pick, I guarantee it. Seriously you'll be amazed.) But autotune can be a legit effect instead of a crutch. If you're doing a song with more electronics in it, autotune can make the vocals sound more natural to the environment.
So yes, some groups overuse it. Some don't need it, but use it anyway as an effect. And that's okay.
Actually, I'm gonna go ahead and insert a Voctave vid here, for the heck of it. (Wait for the soprano, you'll know what I mean.)
