it's still way too early to say whether the fandom will back them no matter what. They haven't grown that core fandom yet at all.

They actually sold like 200k in one day..which is kinda crazy considering how badly O.O was received and how badly this is being received too

As soon as possible please, what the f is JYP thinking with them. Do they pay no attention to how "experimental" music is disliked generally and the divisive reception to their debut? The bside cool is actually really nice imo and a cohesive song, too bad they went with the "throw everything together with bad rapping" song as the title for some reason.

The stockholm syndrome JYP stans are undergoing for them is wild and honestly very well might make me stop considering myself one, if I wanted a group with mix match music that people defend by way of vocals I would go be an SM stan.

Last time their first day sales were like 20k, but i think they grew that a lot in the upcoming days but im not too sure since i also dont keep up much with their sales.

They've grown their fanbase i think because the girls are talented and have star power(im interested as well in them because of that)..i just personally wouldnt stan a group if i dislike their music or even straight up hate it. But to each their own.

It's bc JYP producers don't have any experience in it, also lower budget

Do you know how much money SM throw at Sherlock and Next level producers? Those are both mixed songs that performed very well but they were not cheap.

the problem is not that mixxpop thing

the problem is that the songs they are mixxing arent that good to begin with

if they released o.o or dice without that mixxed part itd probably still flop

that being said, i dont think theyll ever change it
