I will never forget the vietnamese girl ....the math is not mathing for her
Do you think HYBE dress their younger idols appropriately?

people say young teens dress like that but it's different when they do it for many people to see and unfortunately there are some creeps that might sexualize them , so it would be more safe for them if they are of age not that young, at the end it's all for their own safety.

Yes the kpop industry love exploited and oversexualized the minors.

Not chocked, tbh most teenagers dress like that, I find it weird because we didn’t dress like that when we were teens but blame on shein.
Anyway I do find weird when people say they shouldn’t dress because they will attract uncle fans??? Ugh what does it even mean?? Uncle fans should behave properly and not get obsessed by teenagers. That’s their problem not these girls.
It’s like saying women shouldn’t go out at night because they’re sick and twisted men out here.

I think it's fine. It depends more on the way they're marketed than the way they dress. Nothing wrong with wearing a tank top (I always wore tank tops as a teenager). Problem is when the group is marketed towards an older (male) audience. I haven't had that feeling with Newjeans. They feel like a teenage group for teenagers.
Eunchae felt a bit out of place but that's because she is. She wasn't supposed to debut with Lesserafim originally and doesn't suit their concept. She looks like a cute kid. I still wouldn't label her clothes as inappropriate, more ill-suited.

I get what you mean but these girls aren't women, they are still teenagers who have PUBLIC careers. Their outfits aren't their choice but of their company. I find really weird how both groups have older members yet they decided to give the most revealing to the youngest girls.

As long as they're not dressed too scantily as it's far inappropriate for girls of that age and risk being sexualised or exploited.

i think the difference is that those kids are dressing themselves up like this whilst this is moreso a whole company and group of stylists deciding to dress them this way

Does it matter what we the audience think is "appropriate"?
I think the important question, the only relevant question, is how the girls feel about their outfits. Do they feel comfortable, truly comfortable being filmed in them? Having to perform in them in front of a live audience? Their bodies are theirs, the standard should be up to them.
We had plenty of beach parties in high school, coed ones obviously. Everyone was under 18 and everyone decided for themselves if they wanted to wear a revealing bikini or go in more conservative jean shorts and tanks, boys too, some were shy and wore regular tees others went shirtless and jumped in the water. As long as nobody is pressured into wearing something they aint comfortable with, that's the crux of the matter.

can't speak for lsfm but new jeans is completely fine. i've seen people in my old high school wear more scantily clad outfits than what they're wearing. their outfits are typical western teen fashion.
