I feel like other 4th gen GG fandoms are feeling threatened, that's why they are trying to downplay NewJeans achievements. They did the same when Aespa got 1.6M+ preorders with Girls album.

I usually don’t buy Kpop group albums outside of my top3 but I am so impressed with NewJeans music. I haven’t felt this instantly connected to a groups music since txt and so I bought the album.

It's weird how kpop fans were all saying they're too young to be in the industry because of the pressure and how toxic it is and then three days later they're putting these high expectations on them, downplaying their achievements and wanting them to do better even though they're insane for a rookie group. Just proves that some (not all) of it was fake concern and outrage

Same, newjeans music has given me the same fuzzy and warm feeling I felt listening to the dream chapter star and magic albums. That's probably why I connected to their music so fast.

No one can criticize their achievements, they have the potential to end the rest of Kpop, particularly internationally.

Stage presence, I did not know they had already performed on a stage.

And Attention got me on first listen. Just totally dig the song

like everything is kpop, there is a middle ground,

"Add to that the girls have a crazy stage presence and charisma you can trully see they are enjoying everything what they are doing"

they haven't been on a fuckin stage yet,

people hype them way to much, others hate too much
