And who's to say they don't take more breaks than we realize. They don't have to post an announcement every time a member takes a break. The members don't have to post on social media during those breaks either. So they probably take more than fans think.

Nayeon is truly a workaholic. A few years ago during their January break she did a photoshoot in Hawaii because she wanted something to do.
And to your point about Jihyo, we also can't forget her short trip to Busan with Jeongyeon.
They have plenty of time to themselves, while still doing what they love. Making music, performing, putting out content.
If they didn't like it, they wouldn't have renewed.

There's only so much you can do couped up at home, especially in past 2 years with the pandemic. Literally to the point poeple put tents inside their dorms to get a sense of outdoor life....

This logic doesn’t make sense. SKZ are the second biggest boy group internationally and one of the top5 biggest boy group currently active.
ITZY is one of the biggest 4th gen girl groups and one of the best selling outside of the current big three, BP, Twice and Aespa.
Finally Nmixx is young but are already selling very well. They days off people saying JYPE only relies on Twice are gone. JYP has some of the most successful groups out there right now only really matched by SM and Hybe.
YG is literally BP company, if they were gone they would have no big stars except BB but they are not active and after this last song pro won’t be for a while. In fact using such a logic, YG should be pushing BP more because that is their primary group right now.

did you even read what I wrote? lol hybe, YG and sm have other business ventures (besides being record labels) JYP mostly sticks of being a record label which is perfectly fine but that's mainly the difference.

Yes...... and that would work against your statement. If you look at each companies expenditure reports YG and SM do the worst. With HYBE and JYPE being usually the only groups to turn a profit. SM usually loses money because they are so huge and have a lot of expenditure and with YG being also huge and having loads of expenditure. I believe SM and Hybe make the most money out of the 4 but SM just spends so much. So again the line of thought that they need to keep pushing Twice to the same extent as say 2017~2018 doesn't follow. They have clearly slowed done Twice work since even last year.
