I cant believe kpop fans think 4 minute is too long for songs now

I am not into the trend for super short songs. Under three minutes and I feel absolutely cheated.

i don't mind the short songs but i also have songs over 5 minuts on my playlist.

the actual song is the most important part not the lenght im good with 2 minuts for a song

it depends of the song, 2 min of a boring song is too long, 10 min of a good song is fast, Taylor proved that with all too well. Maybe the criticism is coming from there

Aespa’s forever is 5 minutes long and i love listening to it just fine, while girls is only 4 minutes but bore me before the song even ended. It’s not about the length, it’s about how actual song sounded lol

No, it's not long. I have plenty of songs with more duration than that on my playlist. I think you mean 'girls' because lots of people expressed their opinion about it being long. Personally for me it was long because it felt like I was listening to it for an hour already, Too long verses imo, I vibes with them, but chorus was a letdown

I's a bit funny cus most kpop fans don't even listen to the whole song since streaming requires the first 30 seconds

But ye it's not about the length but how good or not the song is

There’s some 4minutes songs I love and I don’t feel bored, but when a 4 minute one doesn’t seem to end anytime soon and has no outstanding part, it feels boring.

I have no issues with long songs, it just shouldn’t sound repetitive.

It’s the weirdest complain imo . People should say they feel bored by the song instead of complaining about the duration. Some of my fav songs are 4-6 mins long. Good music is good music

Depends on the song.

For me personally, 3 minutes and some change is the sweet spot. Long songs can be exceptional when they have the right elements, but songs that are 4 minutes+ can definitely drag. Especially if it's a ballad.

Well it is especially if the song isn't good to begin with. Bring back the 3 minute pop song. The only songs that should go longer than that in my book are instrumentals or legendary classics like Stairway to Heaven - 8 minutes of pure genius.
