One of them, is how she records her own backing tracks.
So while not singing, she puts down the mic, still we have her voice, yet does not get accused of using autotune etc. because her mic is down.
I am not sure how much others use this tactic, of course it doesn't make much sense for groups, but still it is a refined strategy.
Of course she singing live to the accompaniment of her own backing tracks gives such a layered/texture of sounds, which is amazing in many songs.

Of course, everyone wants to attempt Good Day, but that is amateurish.
Serious singers, I mostly stumble across either "Love Poem" or "Hold my hand" recently.
Both figured in vocalist rounds of Kingdom and Queendom.
But even heavyweight veterans like Sohyang, Yoon Do Hyun have chosen "Love poem" to sing.
Funny that she is underestimated as a vocalists by people who think belting is the only criteria, but still her songs are chosen by vocal virtuosos for their performances or vocal competitions.
Anyway, what do you think is the most "covered" song of IU, by other artists?
Moonbyul is actually interesting, she is older than IU, though junior in career is part of a successful girl group herself.
Yet she went to the length of signing up to the fanclub.
Which is more than mere admiration for the achievements of someone in the same business.
It seems fitting that idols also indulge in fan behaviour with other idols, cutting across age.
Reminds me of Sejeong in PD101 going up to Somi and declaring herself as a fan, though Somi was younger and that both were competing in equal footing.
